Hi friends and neighbors, I'm a community organizer, non-profit leader, and climate advocate running for State Representative in the 55th District this year to represent Rochester and Rochester Hills. I'm running to protect and build on the progress Governor Gretchen Whitmer and Democrats in Lansing have made this last year

I never thought I'd run for office myself; instead I've spent my career working for issues, causes, and leaders I believe in, like my first boss US Senator Gary Peters. However, I know our community deserves a representative who is willing to fight for the issues that matter most to us and someone who shares our values. I've lived here in Rochester Hills my entire life, this community helped to raise me and I want to serve and give back to this place that I love and have chosen to continue to make my home.

I spent last year working for the Michigan League of Conservation Voters, one of the largest environmental organizations in the state, running a program that helped to pass Governor Whitmer's Michigan Energy, Michigan Jobs plan - The most ambitious and most pro-worker clean energy standard in the country. Now I'm once again running to represent us in Lansing to keep fighting to protect our environment and ensure our children's and our planet's future!

I'm running because as a young person, I want Michigan to be a place where everyone can live and thrive in all aspects of their life. I promise to work to end the gun violence epidemic, support our teachers and public schools, and ensure access to affordable, quality healthcare for everyone.
